SmashPad is a one-stop source for gaming news, commentary and opinion.

SmashPad’s purpose is not to report the news, which is seemingly the task of many other gaming blogs today. Our intention is to take a good look at the things happening in the gaming space and give a critical, and usually well supported, view on the goings-on that take place.

That said, although you will see it from time to time, don’t come to SmashPad expecting to see breaking stories. Instead, expect to see us dissect stories and crticize the companies and people in question, for better or for worse.

Truth be told, we have always wanted a place to really tell how we feel about the things that happen, and you will see no shortage of that here. We’re going to speak what’s really on our minds, without fear of what our friends in public relations think. You want to know why? Because we just don’t give a f–k!

Gaming journalism is the most spoonfed form of journalism in existence, and in order to give you something real, we’re going to have to piss some people off. So, expect SmashPad to be very noisy.
