Gamefly Rumor: UMD Releases In The Works For PixelJunk Monsters And Fat Princess?
March 16th, 2010 | Written by Chris Selogy | Topic: Rumors, Sony PSPFrom time to time, Gamefly’s database is a nice way to find early hints at release dates and physical releases of games that you may not have been expecting. This latest rumor involves two of Sony’s PSN exclusives for the PSP, PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe and Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake being released on UMD at some point in the future.
We reviewed the PixelJunk game when it was released last fall and Fat Princess just went gold recently, so it’s a surprise to that these may get further life in North America on UMD for those that wants physical versions of these games. Especially when people like Dylan Cuthbert, president of Q-Games, didn’t have high hopes for further work by his studio on the PSP due to its piracy issues. Of course, this is not a confirmation of any kind since the unannounced games like this that appear on Gamefly can disappear to never be heard from again, so just cross your fingers, add the games to your Gamefly Q, and hope for official announcements in the future.
