		<description>RAM is what makes your computer run applications.  The more memory you have, the more applications it should be able to run at the same time.  And if you&#039;re only running one application, all that memory will be focusing on that one application--like The Sims 3, for instance. 
 
Gigs... well.  That has multiple meanings.  The amount of memory your RAM has is told in terms of gigs.  The amount of space your computer can hold is in terms of gigs. 
 
And processors are what changes every year.  Most PC&#039;s now run a Pentium IV processor.  I don&#039;t even know what kind of processor my MacBook runs, so it&#039;s not THAT important. </description>

You want at least an Intel Core Duo 2 processor and at least 4 gigs of RAM for optimal performance. </description>
