And yes it was fun, but it still didn't meet my expectations. Mario Tennis might be fun for someone with a passing interest in the sport, but for someone like me, it just doesn't cut it. And, in all honesty, I'm obviously writing from the viewpoint of someone who takes the sport seriously. I knew Virtua Tennis was an arcade version of the sport when I bought it. VT's awesome and at least the top two series (Virtua Tennis and Top Spin) are fun and enjoyable. I guess it's all about what you expect and I don't care about realism if it's not fun to play.
