Modders Re-create Raccoon City in Left 4 Dead

In progress under the name Bioh4zard 2, modders Zac-UK, jonmag, and petbird of L4DMods.com are currently collaborating to re-create Resident Evil 2, using Left 4 Dead as a base. Altering the story of RE2 just a bit, the player will find themselves as one of four survivors, making their way towards the Raccoon City Police Department in search of rescue.

I don’t know about you, but this announcement has got me feeling giddy inside. Resident Evil 2 was my favorite Resident Evil game of the franchise, and watching it come to life in the form of Left 4 Dead is a dream come true. It’s unfortunate that it would be almost impossible to re-create the classic Resident Evil monsters for the mod, but I think dual Beretta blasting on fools down Raccoon City Main Street beats cramped licker battles anyday.

Check out the link below for a bevy of screenshots and an overflow of memories – that is, if you can remember them!

Hi, my name's Alex. My ambition is to one day become an actor and a video game journalist. I run my own separate blog off of Gamer 2.0 called Tin Foil Hat (http://ajmarra.wordpress.com/), though I update it infrequently. I like to write reviews and share my opinion on video games with no filter added - what you read is my voice and typically how I would say it in real life. I try to be professional at times, but usually end up looking like a professional horse's ass instead.
