Though we’ve been sure of it for a while, video games are taking over. In a recent survey of nearly 1,000 kids aged 8- to 17-year-olds, 90% said they wanted video games this holiday season. That figure is more than impressive, especially since half of the kids surveyed were girls. What does this mean for the future of the industry?

What Kojima did was ever so slightly crack a window into his mind and motivation, two aspects of the acclaimed designer that show why the man has never been able to untether himself from the Metal Gear Solid series.
We love the DS, but with rumors circulating about a new design for the world’s favorite portable gaming console we have to ask “do we really need ANOTHER redesign?” Everyone is satisfied by the current DS Lite’s look, we surely hope Nintendo has some good reasons for switching things up again.

George Lucas…we meet again. We love you for originally thinking of Star Wars, but the original Star Wars, you rightfully stepped down from the director and writer’s chairs. In recent years, including Episodes 1-3, you’ve been a lot more hands-on to the detriment of your own love child. Now we have a great Star Wars game, just don’t butcher a potential film.
